BSIS(UN R151) + MOIS(UN R159)
Blind Spot Information System & Moving Off Information System
The oToBrite BSIS (Blind Spot Information System) is designed to comply with UN R151 requirements for commercial vehicles (M2, M3, N2, and N3). The BSIS provides drivers with signals regarding cyclists and pedestrians in the blind spot area to prevent accidents when turning. Additionally, by adding an extra camera, the product can enhance MOIS (Moving Off Information System) functions to meet UN R159 requirements simultaneously. This system is an ideal solution for meeting the regulations of both UN R151 and UN R159.
Product Features
1st UN R151 certified in Europe
Heavy commercial vehicles have more blind areas than any other type of vehicle due to the higher driver seat, so accidents could easily happen while moving off or making turns. In 2022, the vision-AI-based BSIS product developed by oToBrite successfully helped customers be the first to get UN R151 certified.
Safely protect VRUs
The system can expand MOIS (Moving Off Information System) functions by simply adding one additional camera to comply with UN R159 at the same time. The primary purpose of MOIS is to detect and notify the driver of the presence of pedestrians or cyclists in the blind spot area ahead of the vehicle.
Vision-AI technology
The BSIS & MOIS system utilizes vision-AI technology to identify stationary or moving pedestrians and cyclists, enabling it to effectively overcome real-world scenarios such as occlusion and various environments.
